Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field.
  • Have 5+ years of experience in agribusiness, ag technology, crop advisory, or ag consulting.
  • Demonstrate a track record of growing mid-market or enterprise accounts through renewals and upsells and closing new business.
  • Have strong working knowledge of large-scale row-crop operations.
  • Be familiar with precision agriculture or remote sensing and able to translate data into operational and financial value.
  • Be proficient with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Be willing to travel up to 40%.
  • Established relationships with large direct agribusinesses, processors, or agricultural capital investment groups are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with aerial or satellite imagery, NDVI, thermal imagery, or precision agriculture platforms is a plus.
  • Background in ag SaaS, subscription services, or enterprise account management is a plus.
  • Exposure to permanent or specialty crops is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts, primarily in row crops, and drive renewals and timely resolution of escalations.
  • Build customer relationships through regular check-ins, in-season support, site visits, trade shows, and grower events.
  • Lead business reviews focused on ROI, renewals, and next opportunities.
  • Expand accounts through upsells, additional acreage, and new products and features.
  • Source and close new business with large direct agribusinesses, processors, and agricultural capital groups.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
  • Help customers integrate Ceres imagery and analytics into workflows and use insights to improve input and water efficiency, crop performance, and portfolio risk.
  • Coordinate with flight operations and the science team to deliver work on schedule and to standard.
  • Share structured customer feedback with product and engineering teams.
