Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience in data migration, ETL development, or SQL development.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of SQL and relational database design.
- Have experience writing complex SQL scripts.
- Be able to analyze legacy data models and translate them into new schemas.
- Hold NPPV3 (Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 3) and SC clearance; Mark43 will sponsor and support the vetting process.
- Experience managing contractor deliverables is a plus.
- Interest in public safety data and the effect of high-quality migrations on customer success is desirable.
- Prior work with public safety or government systems is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute SQL-based ETL processes to migrate legacy public safety data into the Mark43 platform.
- Review technical deliverables from data migration contractors and provide guidance.
- Meet with customer records management teams to understand legacy data structures.
- Translate legacy data models into Mark43 schemas.
- Investigate uniquely formatted source databases and identify edge cases to ensure data fidelity.
- Collaborate with deployment, engineering, and product teams to improve migration tooling and processes.
- Manage project timelines and quality standards while maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
