Requirements
- Have 2+ years of experience in data migration, ETL development, or SQL development.
- Understand SQL and relational database design.
- Have demonstrated experience writing complex SQL scripts.
- Be able to analyze legacy data models and translate them into new schemas.
- Obtain NPPV3 (Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 3) and SC clearance; Mark43 will sponsor and support the vetting process.
- Experience managing contractor deliverables is a plus.
- Interest in public safety data is valued.
- Prior work with public safety or government systems is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute SQL-based ETL processes to migrate legacy public safety data into Mark43 products.
- Meet with customer records management teams to understand legacy data structures and map them to the Mark43 schema.
- Analyze source databases and identify edge cases to ensure data fidelity.
- Review data migration contractors’ technical deliverables and provide guidance.
- Work with deployment, engineering, and product teams to improve migration tooling and processes.
- Manage projects from discovery through delivery while balancing timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout customer data migrations.
