Requirements
- Have significant experience as an Engineering Manager, Engineering Lead, Head of Engineering or in a similar technical leadership role.
- Bring a strong software engineering background in one or more of Python, Ruby, Elixir or Golang.
- Understand software architecture, engineering practices and modern development workflows.
- Have experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.
- Balance technical depth with people leadership and remain hands-on when needed.
- Understand agile methodologies and modern engineering practices.
- Translate business and product priorities into clear technical execution.
- Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Be able to work independently in a remote, fast-moving environment.
- Be fluent in French; strong English communication skills are required.
- Be available for an initial 3-month consulting mission, renewable based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the engineering roadmap in line with product and business priorities.
- Lead, mentor and support engineers, set priorities, and remove blockers.
- Make and challenge architectural and technical decisions focused on scalability, reliability and maintainability.
- Lead complex technical projects from planning through execution.
- Work with product, sales and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical objectives.
- Establish and improve development standards, processes and ways of working.
- Contribute directly when deeper technical input or support is needed.
- Evaluate technologies and practical opportunities across Cloud, AI, Blockchain and other emerging technologies.
- Improve engineering processes, team performance and delivery quality.
