Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data/system integration or ETL engineering, building production integrations with complex legacy systems.
- Have hands-on experience using AI/LLM APIs, such as OpenAI or Azure OpenAI, for schema mapping, entity resolution, or automated data quality checks.
- Have strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Have working knowledge of Python and JavaScript, or similar scripting languages.
- Have experience building REST and SOAP APIs.
- Work with JSON, XML, CSV, flat-file, and EDI formats.
- Understand HIPAA and PHI security practices.
- Have strong written and spoken English.
- Have prior remote-work experience and be familiar with remote collaboration tools and platforms.
- Have experience with healthcare or RCM and Practice Management systems such as MD Suite, PrognoCIS, CareTracker, or Cortex (preferred).
- Have HL7/FHIR knowledge (preferred).
- Have experience with cloud integration platforms; Azure Fabric, Data Lake, SQL, and Data Factory are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build data models and source-to-target mapping specifications from Practice Management systems, including MD Suite, PrognoCIS, CareTracker, and Cortex, to the new platform.
- Use AI/LLM tools to accelerate schema mapping, field reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Design and build ETL pipelines and REST/SOAP APIs to move data into the new platform.
- Cleanse, structure, and enrich source data into the required target format.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in production.
- Collaborate with the AI Architect, product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Document data models, mapping specifications, and pipeline configurations.
