Requirements
- Have 4+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting.
- Have experience working in a high-growth SaaS technology environment.
- Have strong, up-to-date knowledge of ASC 606, including reviewing and interpreting contracts.
- Have advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Bring strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Revenue systems implementation or automation project experience is a plus.
- Experience with an ERP system, preferably NetSuite, is a plus.
- CPA candidate preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute monthly revenue accounting close activities and deliverables, including journal entries, deal review, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales and Legal during contract negotiations and provide accounting guidance for proper revenue recognition.
- Review revenue contracts and document non-standard terms to support revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and ASC 606.
- Author, update, and maintain revenue recognition policies and accounting memos for Figma contract structures.
- Develop scalable revenue accounting processes and drive automation initiatives with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Engineering.
- Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, user acceptance testing, and ad hoc analyses.
