Requirements

  • Bring 5+ years of professional experience in quality assurance.
  • Have 2+ years of management experience across the full game development lifecycle.
  • Have proven experience working on a live mobile game with a large and active player base.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of QA methodologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Show the ability to drive change and influence teams toward exceptional product quality.
  • Have experience embedding QA practices within multidisciplinary development teams.
  • Bring experience in live operations and partnering with Marketing, Customer Service, and Live Support.
  • Have experience building and leading distributed or remote teams.
  • Have strong knowledge of software testing, QA processes, software development, change management, and process improvement.
  • Be proficient with bug-tracking systems and test-plan management tools.
  • Bring strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and support the growth and development of the QA team.
  • Build on team metrics to measure product quality and operational excellence.
  • Advocate for quality and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate issues, risks, concerns, and successes to stakeholders, partners, and executives.
  • Foster collaboration across internal and external development, QA, and localization teams.
  • Partner with team leads to plan quality-related activities, assignments, and schedules.
  • Evaluate and improve QA, release, and deployment processes.
  • Champion QA and release excellence across the organization.
  • Partner with engineering, live operations, marketing, and customer support teams.
