Requirements
- Have 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and distributed systems.
- Be proficient in Python, Java, Scala, or similar programming languages.
- Have experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have experience deploying big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Iceberg, or Trino.
- Be familiar with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, or similar.
- Hold a BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or have additional or directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Have experience leading cross-functional projects between R&D and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that process security data for research purposes.
- Develop production-grade pipelines using software engineering best practices.
- Operate big data infrastructure and cloud data warehouses with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Partner with data scientists and security researchers to deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, observability, and governance across the platform.
