Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have at least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Type at least 25 words per minute.
- Be comfortable with desktop computer systems and have general knowledge of Windows-based systems.
- Hold a Property & Casualty insurance license, as indicated by the role title.
- Have access to a dedicated workspace near the router for a hardwired Ethernet connection.
- Meet the internet requirements of at least 15 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload, and ISP latency under 50 ms; satellite, mobile hotspot, P2P, and VPN connections are not accepted.
- Provide proof of internet speed.
- Customer service and/or sales experience is preferred; a college degree is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Handle and carefully respond to inbound and outbound customer inquiries.
- Provide customer service through active listening.
- Handle confidential customer information sensitively.
- Aim to resolve issues on the first call using a proactive, patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.
- Communicate appropriately with customers and exercise retention efforts when needed.
- Assist comparison-shopping customers with questions about contract terms and the correct price plan.
- Handle sensitive situations involving healthcare needs, education, and prevention planning.
