Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Have hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production, including networking, RBAC, scaling, and Helm deployments.
- Bring strong Terraform experience and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Have practical experience with GCP services including GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run.
- Understand Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
- Have experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Have experience supporting cloud-based applications in production environments.
- Be able to work and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- AWS experience is a nice-to-have.
- Cloudflare, GitLab, SonarQube, and security tooling or compliance experience are nice-to-haves.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
- Operate and optimize GKE clusters, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Build and evolve observability solutions for metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
- Manage and optimize GCP native services and cloud costs.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes to improve resilience and reduce manual effort.
- Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards, including modules, state management, and CI/CD integration.
- Collaborate with development teams on architecture, performance, and deployment strategies.
- Participate in incident response, postmortems, continuous improvement, and periodic on-call rotation.
