Requirements
- Maintain an active resident Property & Casualty license.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have at least 6 months of customer service experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Type at least 25 words per minute.
- Be comfortable using desktop computer systems and have general knowledge of Windows-based systems.
- Have a dedicated workspace near the router for a hardwired Ethernet connection.
- Have internet service with a minimum of 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, with ISP latency under 50 ms.
- Do not use satellite, mobile data hotspots, P2P, or VPN internet connections.
- Provide proof of internet speed.
Responsibilities
- Handle and respond to inbound and outbound customer inquiries.
- Provide customer service through active listening.
- Handle confidential customer information sensitively.
- Work to resolve issues on the first call.
- Communicate with customers and make retention efforts when needed.
- Identify comparison-shopping customers and help them find the correct price plan.
- Assist customers with contract-term questions.
- Handle sensitive situations involving healthcare needs, education, and prevention planning.
