Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, such as App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, or Azure DevOps.
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML solutions, including REST-based AI APIs, LLMs, or Azure AI services.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience mentoring or managing a small team, or leading modules or projects.
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Work schedule: 5PM - 2AM (PH Time).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.
- Build and enhance microservices architectures using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities, including OpenAI, Azure AI services, and LLM APIs.
- Develop features such as chatbots, recommendation engines, and automation workflows.
- Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers or small teams.
- Review code and uphold coding, security, and performance best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications and AI integrations.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
