Requirements
- Have 5–10 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager.
- Have 5+ years of experience working directly on AI/ML.
- Bring in-depth machine learning knowledge, particularly in Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Have experience managing projects and programs in AI/ML development.
- Have experience working in chaotic, fast-paced, low-structure environments and operating at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Have managed programs requiring general business acumen, such as coordinating with Finance on reporting or Policy on regulatory compliance.
- Experience working directly on building foundation models is strongly preferred.
- Multimodal AI experience is a bonus.
- Hands-on technical experience is preferred; training models is not required.
Responsibilities
- Establish, improve, and scale foundational processes for the Generative Modeling teams.
- Scale the operational capacity and effectiveness of the Modeling TPM team in collaboration with the Modeling TPM lead.
- Adapt to long-horizon programs and ambiguous short-term challenges as company and team needs change.
- Partner with leaders within and outside the Modeling organization on efforts to design, train, and improve core generative models.
- Lead cross-functional and company-wide programs with Product, Engineering, Legal, Platform, Infra, Policy, and Finance.
- Improve engineering execution rigor and operations while contributing to long-term strategic planning with senior modeling leadership.
- Map dependencies and risks, coordinate cross-functional execution, and communicate status to technical and non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
- Maintain communication of priorities, ideas, and knowledge throughout and beyond the Modeling organization.
- Clarify scope and manage resource needs in response to program-level changes and evolving priorities.
