Requirements
- Have 5+ years of production experience with modern Python.
- Understand advanced Python concepts, including metaclasses, generators, decorators, and asynchronous programming with asyncio.
- Have mastery of FastAPI or Django, including Django REST Framework.
- Have hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.js or Vue.js.
- Have experience with background tasks and event-driven processing using Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ.
- Have deep knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including query profiling, optimization, indexing, and SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
- Have experience containerizing applications with Docker and deploying to AWS or Azure through automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Use pytest for unit and integration test coverage.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy Python backends alongside responsive frontend applications.
- Design self-documenting, clean, and secure RESTful or GraphQL APIs for frontend use.
- Profile, benchmark, and optimize Python applications to address performance bottlenecks and memory management.
- Conduct constructive peer code reviews, championing type hinting, PEP 8 standards, and structural best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX designers, and cross-functional engineers to break complex requirements into technical milestones.
