Requirements
- Have 7+ years in an Ops, DevOps, or SRE role.
- Bring system design and architecture experience.
- Have hands-on AWS experience, including IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, KMS, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
- Have experience with AWS multi-account management, permissions structures, and SSO.
- Have engineer-level knowledge of networking and security, and a solid grasp of load balancing fundamentals.
- Have strong Terraform infrastructure-as-code skills and experience working on a multi-user infrastructure team.
- Have experience with CI/CD and build/deploy automation tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, or GitOps.
- Have experience running enterprise monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog.
- Have a track record of resolving complex on-call incidents and leading RCAs that result in lasting fixes.
- Be comfortable reading Java, Ruby, Bash/Zsh, HCL, Python, and JavaScript.
- Bring a service reliability mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure for critical systems.
- Partner with developers on architecture decisions to improve server and application reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Address vulnerabilities and improve cybersecurity readiness.
- Troubleshoot on-call incidents for customer-dependent services and participate in a weekly on-call rotation.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis and implement lasting fixes.
- Build tools and automation used by other engineers.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and teams across the company.
- Help bring AI into DevOps and SRE workflows.
