Requirements
- Be proficient in Adobe CC, with strong working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with production and licensing artwork.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines without errors.
- Have some knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for file management and order processing.
- Be comfortable working and communicating in a virtual environment.
- Be self-directed and organized, with a production mindset that prioritizes accuracy.
- Be available Monday through Friday during US business hours, 40 hours per week.
- Submit an updated resume, a portfolio link, and a 1-to-2-minute Loom video describing production design experience and quality control process.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is a nice-to-have.
- Experience in graphic design, manufacturing, print production, collegiate licensing, customer service, photography, or digital asset management platforms is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Lay out workbook content from PDF guides in Illustrator and prepare accurate, print-ready artwork.
- Design collegiate notebooks, portfolios, journals, and blue books within an order-based system.
- Create web images to match customer specifications.
- Check files for accuracy, completeness, and production readiness before submission.
- Submit artwork approval requests to licensing agencies in compliance with their rules and regulations.
- Assist customers and sales representatives with custom collegiate orders.
- Design marketing brochures and flyers and assist with the annual product catalog.
- Provide graphic support to other departments as needed.
- Help maintain the cloud-based digital asset management platform and organize artwork files with version control and naming conventions.
