Requirements
- Hold a university degree in health services research, public health, epidemiology, economics, pharmacy, or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset.
- Have at least 1 year of experience on a Canadian Market Access & Pricing team or equivalent experience supporting core market access activities.
- Have experience contributing to project teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrate strong research, analytical, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Understand the Canadian healthcare landscape, including HTA processes and public and private payers.
- Know the practical application of pharmacoeconomics in HTA reviews.
- Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, networking, conflict-management, and relationship-building skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
- Have business-level English proficiency; French reading, writing, and communication skills are an asset.
- Be willing to travel occasionally for client, stakeholder, or off-site meetings.
Responsibilities
- Support submissions to CADTH, INESSS, PMPRB, provincial agencies and programs, and private payers.
- Research, synthesize, and critically appraise relevant literature and data sources.
- Contribute to clinical landscape reviews, clinical summaries, budget impact models and reports, pharmacoeconomic evaluations, payer documentation, and pricing analyses.
- Prepare draft presentations and slide decks for reviews, submissions, payer discussions, and advisory boards.
- Develop tools supporting pCPA negotiations and Product Listing Agreements.
- Lead defined-scope projects, including private payer submissions, provincial copies, biosimilar submissions, and targeted landscape reviews.
- Liaise with clients and Canadian payers, participate in presentations and check-in meetings, and support meeting follow-up.
- Monitor Canada's market access and reimbursement landscape and provide updates to clients.
- Contribute to research and publications on pharmaceutical policy issues in Canada.
- Mentor and train Associates on submission setup, compilation requirements, and processes.
