Requirements
- Professional experience as a QA Analyst, Test Automation Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Hands-on Robot Framework experience, including page objects, keywords, and libraries for API and web testing.
- Practical experience with Xray and Jira for test planning, execution, evidence management, and traceability.
- Practical application of Shift Left principles, including refinement sessions, Definition of Ready/Definition of Done, and test-pyramid practices.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and data validation.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, and code review practices for automated tests.
- Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs and integrating automated tests with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Experience documenting requirements through user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and process flows.
- Knowledge of UML, BPMN, and basic data modeling.
- Understanding of system architecture and integrations involving APIs, messaging, and file-based interfaces.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as Jira and Confluence.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication, and ability to collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a Shift Left testing strategy with developers, Squad Leaders, and systems analysts.
- Specify BDD/Gherkin test scenarios, establish acceptance criteria, and maintain requirements, test, and defect traceability in Xray/Jira.
- Develop and maintain automated tests with Robot Framework for APIs, web applications, and system integrations.
- Create SQL queries for test data preparation, data validation, integrity checks, and automated test support.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including triggers, reporting, and evidence collection.
- Monitor software quality using test coverage, cycle time, and production defect metrics.
- Support exploratory and basic non-functional testing, including performance checks and API contract validation.
- Gather and document business and system requirements, and design technical solutions based on those requirements.
- Support developers during implementation by clarifying requirements and technical decisions.
- Participate in solution validation, homologation, and agile ceremonies.
