Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience working as a QA automation engineer.
- Have experience with Cypress.
- Have experience writing scripts in JavaScript.
- Have experience with manual testing and tools such as qTest and TestRail.
- Be able to distinguish functional testing from performance testing and design, execute, and document both.
- Have experience with JUnit and JMeter.
- Have experience testing REST APIs.
- Understand the difference between unit tests and integration tests.
- Be familiar with code coverage analysis.
- Have advanced programming skills, including automation systems and databases.
- Have detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
- Be eager to perform both manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Meet with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
- Identify software application weaknesses and target areas.
- Develop ideas for automated software test procedures.
- Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas.
- Write automation scripts and implement software applications.
- Design and install software databases.
- Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures.
- Identify quality issues and create test reports.
- Collaborate with the design team to solve application faults.
