Requirements
- Have 4–8 years of professional experience spanning manual testing and QA automation.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with Cypress, JMeter, and Postman.
- Have strong knowledge of TypeScript, Python, SQL/databases, and Jira.
- Bring expert-level understanding of test automation architecture and design patterns.
- Have extensive experience in performance, security, and accessibility testing.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, mentor, and influence technical teams and quality engineering practices.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify and address quality risks.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage tasks and priorities in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.
- Work independently and collaborate effectively within distributed teams.
- Be able to work on a W2 contract basis; 1099 and staffing-agency arrangements are not supported.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, multi-platform automation frameworks for complex digital projects.
- Perform and oversee manual and automated quality assurance activities for reliable releases.
- Lead performance and load-testing strategies using JMeter or similar tools, identifying bottlenecks and quality risks.
- Partner with DevOps teams to optimize testing infrastructure, environments, and processes.
- Define and maintain quality standards, including Definitions of Ready and Done.
- Provide senior-level QA guidance across multiple client accounts.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging approaches, including AI-driven testing tools.
- Mentor QA team members and help establish consistent engineering and testing practices.
- Identify quality gaps and address complex testing challenges to prevent later-stage defects and risks.
