Requirements
- Have proven experience orchestrating data or ML pipelines on Databricks.
- Have experience with Databricks Jobs, Workflows, and cluster policies.
- Have solid CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, gitflow, and pull requests.
- Have infrastructure-as-code experience with Databricks Asset Bundles.
- Apply code quality standards using black, isort, and mypy.
- Have advanced Python skills.
- Have advanced SQL skills.
- Have experience with Delta and Unity Catalog.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate production pipelines on Databricks Jobs, chaining tasks with depends_on and managing failure modes.
- Configure and maintain deployments through Databricks Asset Bundles, promoting across dev, qa, and prd targets.
- Manage MLflow and Unity Catalog model and artifact registration, versioning, Champion/Challenger aliases, and rollback.
- Manage compute across workspaces and standardize cost-monitoring tags for FinOps.
- Integrate AIOps and observability into operational workflows.
- Diagnose runtime incidents and coordinate with development squads.
