- Experience
- At least one year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a US Personal Injury law firm.
Requirements
- Have at least one year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a US personal injury law firm.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Law.
- Be proficient in legal software such as Clio or MyCase (preferred).
- Be bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Own a reliable Windows or Mac laptop from 2017 or newer and have a stable internet connection.
Responsibilities
- Draft, prepare, and review pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents related to personal injury cases.
- Conduct legal research focused on police records, medical files, and the discovery process.
- Communicate with clients and respond to inquiries about personal injury claims.
- Maintain accurate documentation of case-related information and ensure timely filings.
- Assist attorneys with administrative tasks and provide case progress updates.
- Coordinate the collection and delivery of essential case documents.
