Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in subrogation, lien resolution, or personal injury case management.
- Have 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, VA, and private insurance subrogation.
- Demonstrate negotiation and analytical skills.
- Be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Be proficient in legal and medical billing software.
Responsibilities
- Oversee identification, management, and resolution of liens related to personal injury cases.
- Manage the subrogation process from claim investigation through recovery.
- Review and validate medical bills, liens, and claims for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and train a team of subrogation specialists.
- Lead negotiations with medical providers, government agencies, and insurers to reduce liens.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including Medicare Secondary Payer guidelines.
- Provide regular reports on subrogation activities, recovery metrics, and team performance.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement workflow improvements.
