Requirements
- Have proven experience leading full-stack development or a similar role, with a track record of project delivery.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript, including ES6+ syntax.
- Have extensive experience building front-end applications with React; Remix experience is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and RESTful API development.
- Have knowledge of database systems, including MongoDB and standard SQL.
- Have experience with Azure, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), for container-based application deployment and scalability.
- Have experience with test-driven development and unit testing using Vitest and Pytest.
- Have experience with GitHub version control, CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, and GitOps deployment to Kubernetes using ArgoCD.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Azure Developer certification, specifically AZ-204, is preferred.
- Exposure to Databricks and working knowledge of Scrum-based Agile development are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex software engineering tasks for the Web team from conception to completion.
- Architect and develop Python RESTful APIs and React/Remix websites.
- Build reusable integrations and functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues for the NBA Control Tower Portal and develop plans to resolve technical challenges.
- Develop and enforce engineering best practices and standards with a DevOps-first mindset.
- Identify non-functional requirements and promote accessibility, performance, and security practices.
- Work with product owners to turn ideas into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support project alignment and quality.
