Requirements
- Know WordPress at code level.
- Work with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Be able to write custom plugins and modify existing solutions.
- Understand technical SEO and website performance optimization.
- Understand website security, including firewalls, SSL and bot protection.
- Understand UX/UI basics and implement graphic designs such as Figma files.
- WooCommerce experience, including e-commerce projects, is a plus.
- Experience with ACF and Elementor, Divi or Gutenberg is noted; the role should not rely solely on drag-and-drop tools.
- API integrations, REST, webhooks and automations are an additional advantage.
Responsibilities
- Create and develop WordPress websites with a focus on speed, UX and SEO.
- Implement custom themes and plugins, and modify existing solutions.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, loading speed, caching, lazy loading and images.
- Integrate CRM systems, online payments, email platforms and automations.
- Maintain website security, updates and stability, including backups, monitoring and recovery.
- Implement designs from Figma in collaboration with marketing and graphic design.
