Requirements

  • Have 3+ years in packaging design, brand design, or creative direction, with ownership from concept through production.
  • Provide a portfolio showing at least 2–3 packaging systems shipped to retail, covering structural and graphic work.
  • Have advanced Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign skills for dielines, artwork, and print layout.
  • Have working knowledge of packaging structures, substrates, print processes, and production specifications.
  • Have experience designing for consumer electronics, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer packaged goods brands.
  • Demonstrate development of brand identities extended across packaging, retail, and marketing touchpoints.
  • Have C1+ English (CEFR) for presenting concepts to client-side stakeholders.
  • Nice to have: Adobe Dimension or Cinema 4D for 3D packaging mockups and visualization.
  • Nice to have: Figma experience for brand systems and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Nice to have: Retail merchandising, point-of-sale display design, and direct relationships with packaging manufacturers and production vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead packaging systems from concept through production across multiple product categories.
  • Build dielines, artwork, and print-ready files that meet vendor and production specifications.
  • Review proofs and press checks for structural, material, and print accuracy.
  • Track packaging projects against launch timelines and production deadlines.
  • Translate brand strategy into packaging and structural design solutions, maintaining visual consistency across packaging, retail, and marketing.
  • Art direct product launches, packaging refreshes, and brand campaigns.
  • Design retail displays, point-of-sale materials, and supporting brand assets.
  • Work with marketing, product development, production, and external vendors; present concepts and design rationale to stakeholders and clients.
  • Manage feedback cycles and revisions within project timelines.
  • Mentor junior designers, review team output, and document design standards and file conventions.
