Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of consulting experience.
- Have 7+ years focused on Data Engineering, Data Platforms, and Analytics.
- Have delivered 6 to 8 or more Databricks implementation projects in a hands-on Solution Architect capacity.
- Demonstrate strong Apache Spark and distributed computing expertise, including internals-level knowledge of the Spark runtime.
- Have a deep understanding of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, its current capabilities, and production best practices.
- Have hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP; multi-cloud experience is a plus.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines for production deployments.
- Have working knowledge of MLOps concepts and tooling.
- Have experience with performance tuning, optimization, and scalability of large-scale data platforms.
- Databricks Data Engineering Professional Certification is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end-to-end Databricks implementations across enterprise-scale client engagements.
- Design and optimize large-scale data platforms for performance, scalability, and best practices.
- Apply Apache Spark and distributed computing expertise, including Spark runtime internals, to solve data engineering challenges.
- Guide clients on Databricks Lakehouse Platform capabilities, current features, and recommended architecture patterns.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines for production-grade deployments and ongoing data platform operations.
- Apply working knowledge of MLOps practices within data and AI enablement.
- Engage with AWS, Azure, or GCP to deliver cloud-native data solutions.
