Requirements
- Have a BS, MS, Ph.D., or equivalent, plus 8 years of experience.
- Code proficiently in multiple or unfamiliar programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
- Have experience architecting intricate, high-scale patterns in AWS.
- Have experience architecting repeatable CI/CD workflows; GitLab is preferred.
- Hold an AWS Cloud Certification at Associate level.
- Quickly understand, debug, and explain complex distributed systems.
- Self-manage time across competing projects.
- Have strong communication and documentation skills.
- Training in secure coding practices is preferred.
- AWS Cloud Certification at Professional level is preferred.
- Experience with GCP and/or Azure is preferred.
- Experience working for a public company is preferred.
- Open-source contributions or technical blog experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify production incidents and plan future prevention.
- Design globally distributed systems and processes for the organization.
- Identify deficiencies in applications and infrastructure and correct them.
- Define solutions to complex technical problems and share them with teammates.
- Make significant contributions to technology, potentially resulting in patents, trade secrets, publications, or presentations.
- Translate KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans.
- Coordinate across functional boundaries.
- Act as team lead for larger sub-projects or small projects when needed.
