Requirements
- Have native-level proficiency in Korean.
- Have excellent Korean listening and comprehension skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Be self-motivated and reliable, and manage assigned work independently.
- Expected workload is 10–39 hours per week, depending on project needs.
- Previous transcriptionist or court reporter experience is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with subtitles or closed-captioning is a nice-to-have.
- A background in linguistics is a nice-to-have.
- Experience with data annotation or transcription platforms is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate transcriptions of spoken Korean audio.
- Review, clean up, and correct existing Korean audio transcripts.
- Handle multiple speakers, crosstalk, filled pauses, and background noise.
- Follow detailed transcription, style, and formatting guidelines.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across assignments.
- Work independently and asynchronously according to your own schedule.
