Have 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend or full-stack application development, including production services or APIs.
Have experience building, shipping, and maintaining production services or APIs.
Demonstrate strong TypeScript proficiency and backend development experience, with the ability to contribute to front-end features.
Have working knowledge of REST APIs, asynchronous data flows, and relational SQL data modeling.
Write readable, tested code and address reliability, security, and operational concerns.
Have experience developing and operating software in a cloud environment such as GCP or AWS.
Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or have equivalent relevant experience.
Communicate technical decisions clearly and own feature delivery while collaborating across engineering, data, and product teams.
Preferred: experience building data products or working in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry.
Preferred: familiarity with NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, BullMQ, pnpm, or Turborepo.
Preferred: familiarity with GraphQL, React, Relay, Next.js, or developer-facing products and APIs.
Preferred: familiarity with data quality, observability, compliance-related systems, or core banking software.

Own Data Platform features from design and development through deployment and production support.
Turn customer needs into practical designs and incremental delivery plans.
Build and maintain REST APIs that deliver marketing performance and other platform data to customer BI tools.
Develop backend services and data flows that move data through queues, databases, and customer-facing interfaces.
Create interfaces for nontechnical users to configure data egress workflows.
Develop webpage automations to capture and analyze aggregate event data with appropriate privacy and security controls.
Design reliable data models, API contracts, and integrations with validation, error handling, and observability.
Collaborate with data and software engineers on Data Platform products.
Write and test code, review changes, and document and explain design decisions.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response, investigate root causes, and improve operational readiness.
