Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; experience may be accepted in place of the education requirement unless legally required.
- Be fluent in English and Spanish.
- Have two years of customer service experience.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Have good math aptitude and be able to type 30 words per minute.
- Be able to work a structured schedule and varied shifts, including holidays, overnight, evenings, mornings, and weekends, based on business needs.
- Have a dedicated high-speed internet connection using DSL or cable, with at least 20 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload and latency/jitter/ping below 100 ms.
- Have a high-speed modem with at least one LAN Fast Ethernet port and configured to provide a secure private home network IP address via DHCP.
- Have a dedicated, private office room away from general living space and free from noise and distractions.
- Preferred: some college education.
- Preferred: two years of call center and financial experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls for loan and dues accounts.
- Assess, identify, and respond to owner inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- Evaluate customer accounts using appropriate tools and methods to determine necessary actions.
- Provide solutions and alternatives, follow up to ensure resolution, submit adjustment forms, and document transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and effective account service.
- Perform other duties as needed.
