Job Details

5+ years of software testing experience, including strong hands-on expertise in data testing.
Experience testing enterprise-scale data solutions and complex data platforms.
Strong knowledge of databases and SQL, including data validation and reconciliation.
Hands-on experience with Databricks and ETL/data pipeline testing.
Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, C#, and/or TypeScript.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for data solutions.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO), ADO Pipelines, and GitHub.
Ability to work closely with developers and maintain test code or repositories.
English at Intermediate+ level or above.
Nice to have: experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, DAX, PySpark/Apache Spark, data modeling, AI/LLM-based testing, or GitHub Copilot.
Nice to have: Microsoft Fabric certifications (DP-600 or DP-700), Databricks certification (DP-750), or a data engineering background.

Analyze data testing requirements and define appropriate test coverage.
Build a data test automation framework from scratch.
Develop test code alongside developers and maintain it in GitHub or a separate test repository.
Automate test design, execution, and reporting, and integrate tests into ADO pipelines and CI/CD.
Validate data against source systems and perform automated data reconciliation.
Test data transformations, ETL processes, databases, and data in Databricks using SQL queries.
Test Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.
Work with AI/LLMs as part of the testing approach and consider verification in the wider enterprise application context.
