Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; a PhD is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in data science.
- 2+ years of experience with Databricks.
- Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining.
- Proficiency in Python or R and experience with data science libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Ability to work with complex and unstructured data.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights for business decisions.
- Develop and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms for problems such as customer segmentation, demand forecasting, and recommendation systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, availability, and integrity for analysis and modeling.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Experiment with and evaluate data science techniques, tools, and methodologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Work with product teams to integrate data science models into production systems and applications.
- Stay current with data science, machine learning, and AI developments and apply them to improve processes and models.
