Requirements
- Have 3+ years of product management experience, ideally with consumer-facing products.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently.
- Have a track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including synthesizing messy signals into clear recommendations.
- Be willing to maintain regular daily overlap with global business hours for engineering coordination.
- Break ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses and work with incomplete information.
- Show diligent follow-through on owned work.
- Be customer-centric and interested in understanding customer feedback and behavior.
Responsibilities
- Own landing pages, signup funnels, and app-download pages.
- Simplify user flows for insurance shopping, including flows that require customers to provide substantial data.
- Personalize the experience by user persona and marketing channel.
- Design helpful customer communications, copy, and user interfaces that build trust.
- Improve how complex quote-shopping information is displayed to customers.
- Integrate insurance carriers with different risk models and behaviors into simple user experiences.
- Balance customer needs and goals with those of insurance carrier partners.
- Integrate products such as roadside assistance, home insurance, property tax appeals, and motorcycle insurance into the car insurance shopping funnel.
