Requirements
- Master’s degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, health services research, data science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience using R and/or Python for statistical programming and executing publication-oriented analysis plans, particularly in the health sciences.
- Strong knowledge of applied statistical methods, including time-series, survival, and longitudinal data analysis.
- At least 3 years of experience producing scientific publications or other research-oriented content, such as peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference abstracts, or scientific blogs.
- At least 3 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating research findings and requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality research under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex research outputs to scientific and non-scientific audiences.
- Experience in cardiology and/or neurology research is preferred.
- A PhD in a related quantitative discipline is preferred.
- Two or more scientific publications, including at least one as a first author, are preferred.
- Experience translating scientific findings into accessible content for non-technical audiences is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research studies, including literature reviews, study design, analysis plans, data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of findings.
- Develop, maintain, and document code used to process, wrangle, and analyze complex healthcare datasets.
- Prepare research reports, conference abstracts, manuscripts, and other scientific content for a range of audiences.
- Manage multiple research projects, maintain clear timelines, communicate progress, and deliver outputs under deadlines.
- Collaborate with communications, marketing, clinical research, product, and engineering teams to advance research initiatives.
- Provide researcher perspectives and feedback to help shape research solutions for clinicians and researchers.
- Translate research results into insights through writing, data visualization, and oral presentations.
