Requirements
- Have a strong background in full-stack software development.
- Demonstrate mastery of Cursor or similar AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cody, or Codex; this is mandatory.
- Bring solid experience in prompt engineering and designing AI-assisted workflows.
- Have strong testing, refactoring, and code review abilities.
- Understand software architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Have experience integrating with CI/CD systems, testing frameworks, and code linters.
- Demonstrate debugging and root cause analysis skills, particularly for generated code that fails or diverges from expectations.
- Be able to document and teach AI-driven development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize AI-assisted development workflows by integrating Cursor or equivalent tools with the codebase, CI/CD, and automated testing pipelines.
- Create and maintain prompt libraries, templates, macros, and recipes for recurring engineering tasks.
- Audit, refine, and validate AI-generated code for quality, coherence, maintainability, and security compliance.
- Train and mentor developers on using Cursor in their daily workflows.
- Coordinate product, architecture, and engineering considerations so AI-generated output aligns with system design principles.
- Define and monitor metrics including code quality, time saved, and refactor success rate.
- Evaluate LLM and AI code-generation advancements and recommend tools and automation strategies.
