Requirements
- Typically have 0–2 years’ experience following a Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science.
- Have a strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Be familiar with web app development.
- Be proficient in at least one modern backend language, such as Java, C#, Go, or Python.
- Have a basic understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Be comfortable coding with Cursor or Codex/Claude/Open Code.
- Be open to working within the Java ecosystem after joining.
- Exposure to AWS, React, or NoSQL databases is of interest.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the full software lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment.
- Release code to production on an almost daily basis.
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and data experts to understand product needs.
- Use agentic coding tools for routine work such as boilerplate, unit tests, and small refactors.
- Design and implement clean, readable solutions.
- Focus on automated unit and integration testing.
- Participate in design reviews, ask questions, and seek feedback.
