Requirements
- Be a board-certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO).
- Hold an active, unrestricted federal DEA registration.
- Hold an active Georgia license.
- Have proven experience supervising Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).
- Have knowledge of state-specific collaborative practice agreements and multi-state supervision regulations.
- Have experience with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery.
- Be committed to high-quality, measurement-based, collaborative care.
- Be willing and eligible to obtain additional state licenses and DEA registrations as required for multi-state practice.
- Work a flexible schedule of up to 5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor up to 12 PMHNPs, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, compliant billing, and brief psychotherapy integration.
- Provide weekly supervision during new PMHNP onboarding, followed by monthly group supervision.
- Provide second-opinion consultations for higher-complexity cases in collaboration with PMHNPs.
- Prescribe medications responsibly and in alignment with measurement-based care.
- Conduct follow-up assessments, manage medications, and provide psychotherapy when clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve tools, workflows, and care models.
- Help define and implement treatment guidelines and protocols with the Medical Director.
- Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and other clinicians, and contribute to case reviews and clinical discussions.
