Requirements
- Have 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience building production mobile applications.
- Have experience building fintech or trading applications.
- Have experience with blockchain, Web3, or DeFi.
- Have strong professional experience with React Native, React, and TypeScript.
- Have experience owning or leading the technical development of a production mobile application.
- Understand mobile application architecture, design patterns, state management, performance, testing, and maintainability.
- Have experience making architectural decisions and driving technical projects from design through production.
- Have strong experience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs and services, including REST APIs, and experience with Node.js.
- Be fluent in English.
- Be based in the EU or New York timezone.
Responsibilities
- Own the React Native application’s architecture, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability across iOS and Android.
- Lead mobile features from technical design and implementation through testing, release, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build mobile functionality using React Native and TypeScript and maintain engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Make architectural decisions and drive improvements to mobile architecture and development processes.
- Guide engineers through code reviews, design discussions, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering on technical solutions, API design, integrations, real-time data flows, and supporting infrastructure.
- Own App Store and Google Play releases, application monitoring, issue triage, and production incident investigation.
- Evaluate mobile development technologies, frameworks, and tools when relevant.
