Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with containerization technology, including Kubernetes and Docker, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of AWS data lake services, including Glue and Athena.
- Linux troubleshooting experience and familiarity with Debian, Ubuntu, and RHEL distributions.
- Bash, Python, or Perl scripting experience.
- Experience developing CI/CD pipeline automation, especially with Jenkins.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Kafka knowledge is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and participate in coaching junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and deploy applications with Helm using infrastructure as code.
- Work with other teams to identify platform pain points and problems.
- Develop tools and frameworks to improve data platforms.
- Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Implement security best practices and support compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
