Requirements
- Have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Have strong experience developing backend microservices and API architectures, including Express or NestJS.
- Have hands-on experience with Vue.js, particularly Vue 3, Composition API, state management, and modern front-end build tools.
- Have experience integrating AI/ML services or developing AI-enhanced features, including LLMs, vector search, embeddings, or model inference.
- Be familiar with a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understand distributed systems and scalable application architecture.
- Have API design experience, including REST and/or GraphQL.
- Be familiar with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
- Have experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Have experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build responsive front-end experiences with Vue.js, including Vue 3, Composition API, and state management.
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture and system-level decisions.
- Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities, including embeddings, LLM-powered functionality, vector search, and model inference.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
- Develop and maintain scalable microservices and API architectures using Express or NestJS.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, data, and AI teams on end-to-end technical solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, observability, performance, and operational reliability.
