Requirements
- Have experience as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst on data, BI, or reporting programs, owning a backlog end to end.
- Have experience rationalizing a large legacy report inventory into a governed, business-defined reporting product.
- Work directly with Finance or other business-domain stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and resolve requirements ambiguity.
- Have strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills and be able to drive decisions to deadlines within a fixed-scope delivery.
- Have a working understanding of data platform concepts, including source-to-curated data flow, semantic layers, and BI tooling.
- Be fluent in English at C1 level for daily collaboration with US-based Finance and business stakeholders.
- Nice to have: experience with financial or GL reporting domains, including chart of accounts, dimensions, or close processes.
- Nice to have: experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services reporting.
- Nice to have: familiarity with Power BI or another enterprise BI semantic layer from a product or requirements perspective.
Responsibilities
- Own and rationalize the report and capability inventory, deciding which legacy reports carry forward, are re-pointed, rebuilt, or retired.
- Groom and prioritize the delivery backlog across replication, curated-layer, semantic-model, and reporting-enablement workstreams.
- Define and validate acceptance criteria for deliverables with client Finance and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate design validation by gathering report and table baseline requirements, resolving ambiguity with named stakeholders, and locking scope.
- Drive backlog and requirements decisions to deadlines within the fixed program schedule.
- Coordinate with the Architect, Security & Privacy Governance Lead, and data development leads to align scope, design, and delivery.
- Track and communicate progress against design-validation, build, and cutover-readiness gates to client stakeholders.
