Requirements
- Bring 7+ years of professional software development experience, including strong hands-on Python experience.
- Have extensive experience designing and developing Python applications using FastAPI.
- Have hands-on experience with Databricks Apps and deployment within the Databricks ecosystem.
- Have full-stack development experience across UI, application/integration, and database layers.
- Have strong PostgreSQL and database integration experience.
- Demonstrate advanced SQL skills and practical experience designing data-driven application components.
- Translate high-level solution architecture into detailed technical designs and production-ready implementations.
- Understand multi-tenant application architecture, isolation principles, and scalable application design.
- Provide technical direction, review implementations, and support other developers.
- Bring analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to code quality, architecture, and maintainability.
- Collaborate effectively with solution architects, developers, and other technical stakeholders.
- Experience deploying Python applications in cloud environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Streamlit, Django, Azure, Azure Databricks, AKS, or Azure App Service is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Translate high-level architecture and technical direction into detailed designs and implementable engineering requirements.
- Lead development of Python-based applications and own selected core components.
- Design and develop scalable applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Build, integrate, and deploy applications through Databricks Apps.
- Develop across UI, application and integration layers, and databases.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to developers throughout implementation.
- Review implementations for alignment with architecture, technical designs, and engineering standards.
- Design PostgreSQL database integrations and develop efficient SQL solutions.
- Collaborate with architects and technical stakeholders to resolve design and implementation challenges.
- Ensure applications follow multi-tenant architecture and data or resource isolation principles.
