Experience: 10 years of work experience in support of related utility consulting or large scale process/technology projects.

Have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or equivalent utility and consulting work experience.
Have knowledge of electric, gas, and/or water utilities.
Have 10 years of experience supporting related utility consulting or large-scale process or technology projects.
Have a reasonable understanding of Esri GIS technology.
Have strong PC skills, including standard Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project.
Be willing to travel 25–35% of the time.
Be able to prioritize assignments and shift work based on department or business needs.
Be able to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
Gas distribution experience is a plus.
Familiarity with utility operational technologies, including asset and work management, outage management, advanced distribution management, advanced metering infrastructure, or mobile products, is desired.
Familiarity with gas utility regulatory compliance and Integrity Management Plans is desired.
Project management methodology experience, including schedule, scope, issue, risk, and budget tracking, is desired.

Provide operational and technical leadership for electric and gas consulting programs focused on Esri Geospatial solutions.
Represent SSP to prospects and customers and work with utility personnel at all organizational levels.
Present and conduct workshops to identify business and technical requirements and best practices.
Manage consulting deliverables, including use cases, requirements gathering, implementation strategies, road maps, and reports.
Coordinate consulting projects from initiation through delivery and liaise between SSP and clients.
Translate high-level business and user requirements into detailed functional requirements.
Identify operational system interfaces, constraints, and nonfunctional requirements.
Mentor and coach consultants, developers, and engineers and manage consultant-level resources.
Support sales and account managers with business development, proposal preparation, and project estimates.
Build client relationships and participate in thought leadership activities such as blogs, conferences, and public speaking.
