Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
- Have 5+ years of development experience in enterprise environments.
- Have at least five years of experience working with Java and building full-stack applications across front end and back end.
- Have experience deploying and configuring applications on JBoss application servers.
- Have hands-on experience with AWS EC2, including deploying and supporting applications in a cloud environment.
- Have experience with Jakarta Server Pages (JSP) for frontend websites.
- Be familiar with SQL databases.
- Have experience with SOAP APIs.
- Know Test-Driven Development and Agile Development.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a full-stack Java application deployed on JBoss in AWS.
- Collaborate with the agile team to design, code, test, debug, deploy, and document software.
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components, including the UI, APIs, and data layer.
- Build and maintain Java applications and services, including deployment and configuration on JBoss/WildFly application servers.
- Deploy, configure, and support application infrastructure in AWS.
- Work with Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, UX Researchers and Designers, and Product Managers to maintain enterprise systems.
- Address technical problems across the application stack, from UI to infrastructure.
