Requirements
- Hold a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) qualification.
- For the RN pathway, have 3 years of direct clinical care to consumers in a clinical setting.
- For the LPC or LMSW pathway, have 2 years of clinical practice to obtain the license.
- Hold a current, valid, unrestricted license in the state of operations or reciprocity.
- Compact licensees changing permanent residence to the state of operations must obtain active, unrestricted RN licensure in that state within 90 days of hire.
- Have 3 years of wellness or managed care experience presenting clinical issues with members or physicians.
- Know the health and wellness marketplace and employer trends.
- Have verbal and written communication skills for discussing medical needs with members and interfacing with internal staff, management, external vendors, and community resources.
- Have analytical experience, including medical data analysis.
- Be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and web-based applications.
- Preferred: patient education, condition management, transition of care, or complex or catastrophic case management experience.
- Preferred: case management, training, project management, or nationally recognized health care certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct medical management programs for customers on government health care programs.
- Conduct health education programs for customers on government health care programs.
- Gather data for regulatory reports.
- Analyze data for regulatory reports.
- Provide data for regulatory reports.
- Represent the company to members.
