Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.
- Two or more years of related experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment across various functional business groups.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Google Workspace or MS Office skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials in accordance with management guidelines and customer contract requirements for approved vendor lists, unit price, quality, and delivery.
- Make tactical buying decisions for purchase order placement and management.
- Place, reschedule, and cancel purchase orders.
- Resolve nonconforming material, goods discrepancies, and invoice queries in a timely manner.
- Minimize inventory while maintaining adequate materials to meet production plans.
- Initiate corrective actions and escalate issues to avoid production schedule impacts.
- Collaboratively manage procurement automation processes, including optimization, troubleshooting, and data integrity.
- Decide when to use automation and when to request execution exceptions.
