Requirements
- At least 3–4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing or online store operations.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and optimising Shopify stores.
- Demonstrated experience running profitable paid social campaigns on Meta and/or TikTok.
- Ability to create social media content, including short-form video.
- Practical understanding of conversion rate optimisation, A/B testing and e-commerce analytics.
- Experience with backend order processing, fulfilment and inventory management.
- Experience with an ERP or inventory system integrated with Shopify.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for integrations, synchronisation and store features.
- Excellent written and spoken English for customer-ready content and replies.
- Availability to work 25–30 hours per week during New Zealand business hours, moving to full-time within approximately 3 months.
- Reliable internet connection and a professional home-office environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Shopify products, collections, pages, navigation, theme settings, apps and integrations.
- Review store performance and improve product pages, landing pages, site speed, mobile experience and checkout flow.
- Plan and run A/B tests, email and SMS flows, promotions, and conversion optimisation improvements.
- Build and manage paid campaigns on Meta and TikTok, including audiences, retargeting, tracking, budgets and creative tests.
- Create and schedule social content, including short-form videos, graphics, product demonstrations, captions and ad copy.
- Process incoming orders and maintain the Shopify-to-ERP integration, checking and resolving sync and data issues.
- Monitor stock, maintain product and SKU data, reconcile inventory, and support reorder planning.
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve order, delivery, return and product concerns.
- Prepare reports and document workflows, identifying operational errors and opportunities for improvement.
