Requirements
- BS/MS degree in computer science or related field or commensurate experience.
- 3+ years of Shopify development experience.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Liquid template language.
- In-depth knowledge of Shopify theme and Shopify app usage and customization.
- Experience with Responsive Design.
- Experience with a major JavaScript framework such as React or Angular.
- Experience working with RESTful web services and APIs.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently to resolve issues and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce websites in collaboration with team members.
- Optimize website performance and user experience to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Design and improve web application functionality while maintaining existing websites.
- Write high-quality, modular, and reusable code.
- Create and modify content and imagery required for maintaining website properties.
- Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and display issues.
- Handle technical support issues and resolve problems arising from webstore operations.
- Work with Marketing, Engineering, and Product Managers to ensure design consistency and user experience optimization.
