Requirements
- Knowledge of corporate structure and tax planning strategies.
- Experience preparing or reviewing federal or state corporate income tax returns.
- Knowledge of accounting, auditing, and relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and electronic data/file management.
- Must reside in Texas or Georgia within 50 miles of a major airport.
- Possess a valid US driver's license and own transportation for travel.
- Maintain a quiet, private home office with a locking file cabinet.
- High-speed internet: 3MB+ download, 1MB+ upload, and maximum 100ms latency.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct complex multi-state corporate income tax audits.
- Interact directly with taxpayers in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Utilize knowledge of corporate structure and tax planning strategies.
- Document findings and review corporate tax returns.
- Travel throughout the United States to conduct fieldwork.
